I am a Board Certified Holistic Health Counselor, trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. I am also certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I am the Founder and Executive Director of Live Free Nutrition, a health consulting company offering individual, group, and corporate counseling sessions, and lectures, in order to assist others in bringing balance to their lives. In essence, I aim to create a happy and healthy lifestyle for everyone.

I specialize in working with families who want to raise their children according to a healthy lifestyle, and for this purpose offer cooking classes, nutritional counseling, self care remedies, workshops, and strategies for cooking and eating together and living fulfilling, active lives. I have helped my clients lose weight, control their cravings, improve their skin, start exercising, recover from menstrual problems, asthma, Crohn's disease, arthritis, and reduce stress in their lives.

Additionally I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland. At St. John's I studied the great books of western civilization in philosophy, mathematics, science, music, literature, and theology.

I was raised on a macrobiotic diet but did not recognize the relationship between diet and health until going to college and eating a ton of sugar and refined foods. I became very sick and the experience served as a significant wake-up call. Consequently, on my own I began to study intensively nutrition and health and to help others with their health concerns. This path eventually led me to study at Integrative Nutrition. My mission is to enlighten my clients, friends, family, and others in proper nutrition and healthy lifestyles to improve the overall quality of life.

My wife, daughter, papillon, and I live in Gaithersburg, MD in order to serve the greater Washington, DC area.
